Evaluarea transparenței bugetare în administrația locală din județul Botoșani

Abstract


The paper analyzes the level of budget transparency in local public administrations in Botoșani County, with the objective of assessing compliance with legal provisions and identifying the degree of accessibility of financial information for citizens. The results show a low level of compliance with legal requirements: many authorities do not publish the requested financial information, the information is not updated, and the reports are difficult to understand for citizens.

The study highlights the need to simplify financial communication, standardize documents and increase public involvement in order to strengthen transparency and trust in local administration.
